Takes me right back to my Stats at uni, and the dangers of equating unrelated coincidence with correlation.:rofl:

An important part of this trip was today’s run to Tesco & Lidl for home comfort essentials.
Didnt go as planned FFS.

Would it not have been easier to stay in Poland?

Jumping to conclusions there Shroppie. I can see clear correlations there; divorced people probably can’t afford butter any more, and if the arcades are full it means there’s more electronically minded kids around. QED :+1::+1::grin:

I bet it’s making you homesick

What Lidl’s does have is a Greek promo

So if you are missing the place you can stock upon dolmathes, gigantes, mythos, pastitio, pine honey, ouzo, retsina

Yeah. Right

I stopped doing that when one of them jumped back.

The weekend saw records broken, with partners and council colleagues working hard to meet the expected demand.

  • More than 60 missing children were reunited with families and guardians
  • Toilets remained open from 7am until late, with additional cleansing put in place
  • A 24-hour beach patrol took action against those illegally camping with more than 100 tents removed
  • 70 tonnes of waste was collected in Poole alone and significant other amounts across the wider area
  • Over 1200 people used the park and ride service at Kings Park, Boscombe
  • As local roads became congested the council and police put in place temporary road restrictions at Pier Approach in Bournemouth and Sandbanks to alleviate queuing traffic
  • A record -breaking, 1300 parking tickets were issued to those who parked irresponsibly with a priority on on-street seafront areas, where a high level of vehicles had parked in contravention causing issues for moving traffic and emergency vehicles.
  • 15 vehicles were towed, over the weekend which is more than for the entire of last year. The towaway service running late in to the evening

Blimey the parking tickets alone have funded that effort - nice

How many of them will be paid though, honestly the parking near the beaches is a joke though, people think they can just leave their car on a grass verge under a tree…

Come to North Baddesley where a motor trader has parked/abandoned his Ex-Ocado Mercedes Van in a Lay-by for the last 8 months. It’s getting a little overgrown now but the Council can’t move it as it’s taxed and insured. :lou_eyes_to_sky:
