Thereās a really good use for IKEA: when you are trying to get 10,000 steps a day, and the weather stops you walking, a trip to IKEA in Southampton (without buying anything) will give you up to 3,000 steps. Even if you have pay for parking, itās cheaper than going to a gym.

We renewed a friendship recently with a couple who we hadnāt seen socially for over 40 yearsā¦she was my photographic model and he a good friend from work.
Itās the happiest event of the Lockdown and on our first meeting in all that time the conversation got round to my musical preferences. She said, I remember you were mad keen to play us Hall & Oates latest album, āAbandoned Luncheonetteā FFS how did you remember that.

Great touring bandā¦killer guitar solo from Todd Sharp. Low on bombast, high on subtlety.

Did a massive road trip across Syria with Damascus Saint back in the day, found 3 Western music fake cassettes in a shop before we went.
MTV Unplugged (stunning version of Midnight Oil Beds are Burning.
Tattoo - yeah really.
And Hall & Oates Greatest Hits. My man knew every word to every song when we finished & used to shock my DJ mates by asking them to play tracks like Family Man.
