Phillip Wang, an engineer at Uber, has created a nightmare of a website to raise awareness to how creepy this technology can be. The site dubbed This Person Does Not Exist shows you well, obviously, Style-GAN-created faces of people that do not exist in real life.
Some look fine, others look really creepy
Laugh? Maybe. Not bored? Maybe. Quite interesting? Yes…if you’re a gearhead.
It’s 32 minutes long but you can FF through bits that you don’t find that interesting.
Just shows how resilient these simple pieces of machinery are…remember this thing hasn’t been started since before a lot of you were born…
