I think the technical term is “bulking up”
It’s something I realise now I’ve unconsciously been doing, but now I feel ready for whatever happens and will come out of it well “buff”…or whatever the Olds equivalent of it is…

Friend of Mrs D_P came round last night, supposed to collect some kitchen stuff we are leaving.
Invited herself for Dinner.
Proceeded to tell us non stop what she had done every hour of every day since we saw her in December.
Spent ages telling us about her new amazing diet.
Then went out to sit on our patio…
I’ve had some tough days in my life but not spraying my Saumur Champigny last night was possibly the toughest moment ever.
We were leaving the patio chairs but still…
Today all the wife has said to me has been “stop it” & “Don’t you start off again”
