Always thought they were shite.

saw em at Glasto, still thought they were shite.

That said, I quite like this song. Distant Past, too.

I really like Everything Everything, had ā€˜Get to Heaven’ playing nigh-on constantly since it came out. In contrast to KRG I also saw them at Glasto and thought they were great! The singer kept making weird eye contact with me though which was a bit offputting…

I’ve up-voted both your and KRG’s comments…I appreciate decisive Love/Hate opinions

You know it’s nowt personal 'slowlane. There’s just something about them that winds me up.

There’s also this nagging thing in my head that they are just a lesser version of Django Django, who I really like.

Have some Scandi-Garage rock in your faces to liven up your afternoon/evening. Cracking name too.

If you forget the beats…this reminds me of an intro/outro of some 1970’s American cop show…

I’m purposefully sticking my neck out here, but I’m going to say it. I love this. Perfect mix of pop and hardcore rock. Accessible and credible.

Completely different from what was just posted. Love the vocal on this. Urban with the just amount can’t-be-arsed about it.

Everlast, formerly of House of Pain, famous for producing ā€œJumpā€, the only song in the 90s that every male knew how to dance to.

This is an acoustic performance of What It’s Like. Not only is the tale of the song a bit clearer, there’s also a quite unplanned bit where Everlast asks for a bit of the radio host’s spliff. He duly obliges, but as he sits back on his chair, you see a wave of paranoia hitting his face as he remembers that tonight isn’t just on the radio

I liked that papster - which is odd for a recommendation from you!

I know what you mean about the can’t-be-arsedness of the vocal performance. Reminded me a lot of this:

Sorry boys and girls. The females have buggered off to the theatre, leaving me alone with a modest supply of beer and Spotify/Youtube to make loud sounds. I can see this going on awhile.

Hahaha pap, I feel your pain…if it’s any consolation…i like this one!

Ok, this is a good one. One of the benefits of moving to Liverpool was much better clubs, with music that you lot would either get six months later or not at all. Don’t think this ever did too well in the charts, but it’s a local anthem and one of the campest dance tunes ever.

I defy you not to have a smile on your face at some point during this one,. It’s impossible. It’s just too fucking cheerful.

I’d also like to point out that the reason you’ve liked some of this stuff is because I’m deliberately reaching out, a bit like when I offer to play my Spotify playlist in the car instead of High Voltage (when the family look particularly angry or tooled up).

I’m not the one with the guitar allergy bletch. It’s as bad as ms pap ā€œnot liking onionsā€. They’re fucking everywhere and it’s fucking awkward.

Yeah, that’s a good tune. I certify it for use at 5am in the morning after a party, or fit to use anytime to get into someone’s undies. Is that what’s happening here, bletch?

I just don’t like onions that sounds like every other onion I ever heard.

Pain? What pain? I’m fucking loving it.

I would say ā€œnice to have a bit of peace and quietā€, but I think we all know it’s obvious that ain’t happening, bar the obvious and mercifully absent pain of ms pap bursting into man cave 2, pointing at the stereo and telling me to ā€œfucking lower that downā€.

She is never impressed when I start taking the stereo off the shelf and placing speakers on the floor, etc.

That’s a corker right there, great voice. Love the bass sound on the mix as well. Will be keeping an eye on this lot!

Hey Supermikey, awesome, thanks
