Always thought they were shite.
saw em at Glasto, still thought they were shite.
That said, I quite like this song. Distant Past, too.

I really like Everything Everything, had āGet to Heavenā playing nigh-on constantly since it came out. In contrast to KRG I also saw them at Glasto and thought they were great! The singer kept making weird eye contact with me though which was a bit offputtingā¦
Iāve up-voted both your and KRGās commentsā¦I appreciate decisive Love/Hate opinions
You know itās nowt personal 'slowlane. Thereās just something about them that winds me up.
Thereās also this nagging thing in my head that they are just a lesser version of Django Django, who I really like.
Iām purposefully sticking my neck out here, but Iām going to say it. I love this. Perfect mix of pop and hardcore rock. Accessible and credible.
Completely different from what was just posted. Love the vocal on this. Urban with the just amount canāt-be-arsed about it.
Everlast, formerly of House of Pain, famous for producing āJumpā, the only song in the 90s that every male knew how to dance to.
This is an acoustic performance of What Itās Like. Not only is the tale of the song a bit clearer, thereās also a quite unplanned bit where Everlast asks for a bit of the radio hostās spliff. He duly obliges, but as he sits back on his chair, you see a wave of paranoia hitting his face as he remembers that tonight isnāt just on the radio
I liked that papster - which is odd for a recommendation from you!
I know what you mean about the canāt-be-arsedness of the vocal performance. Reminded me a lot of this:
Sorry boys and girls. The females have buggered off to the theatre, leaving me alone with a modest supply of beer and Spotify/Youtube to make loud sounds. I can see this going on awhile.

Hahaha pap, I feel your painā¦if itās any consolationā¦i like this one!
Ok, this is a good one. One of the benefits of moving to Liverpool was much better clubs, with music that you lot would either get six months later or not at all. Donāt think this ever did too well in the charts, but itās a local anthem and one of the campest dance tunes ever.
I defy you not to have a smile on your face at some point during this one,. Itās impossible. Itās just too fucking cheerful.
Iād also like to point out that the reason youāve liked some of this stuff is because Iām deliberately reaching out, a bit like when I offer to play my Spotify playlist in the car instead of High Voltage (when the family look particularly angry or tooled up).

Iām not the one with the guitar allergy bletch. Itās as bad as ms pap ānot liking onionsā. Theyāre fucking everywhere and itās fucking awkward.

Yeah, thatās a good tune. I certify it for use at 5am in the morning after a party, or fit to use anytime to get into someoneās undies. Is that whatās happening here, bletch?
I just donāt like onions that sounds like every other onion I ever heard.

Pain? What pain? Iām fucking loving it.
I would say ānice to have a bit of peace and quietā, but I think we all know itās obvious that aināt happening, bar the obvious and mercifully absent pain of ms pap bursting into man cave 2, pointing at the stereo and telling me to āfucking lower that downā.
She is never impressed when I start taking the stereo off the shelf and placing speakers on the floor, etc.
Thatās a corker right there, great voice. Love the bass sound on the mix as well. Will be keeping an eye on this lot!
Hey Supermikey, awesome, thanks
