Shine on You Crazy Diamond brought āThe Desert Statesā flooding back to me.
A mate and I put together a slide show of the Arizona desert around the Grand Canyon back in the '70s and used to show it to other camera clubs in the area. Shine on You Crazy Diamond was the opening of the Grand Canyon with āOh Well Part 2ā spliced onto the end. Over 150 slides in the sequence with double projectorsā¦nightmare if you got the timing wrong.
