Hard Believer by Fink. Never heard of Fink before but caught a track on House of Lies that sounded interesting and listening to this album right now. Sounding good.

Never heard of 'em.

I’ll give it a spin and let you know what I think.

Loved that. I’ll be digging into his other stuff. Reminds me of a marriage of

Pale Green Ghosts is a cracking Album.

So, what are we doing about this emoticon situation, Bletch? I pains me everytime you use your stroke victim. What’s the solution? Shall I do some interim ones while we’re waiting for Bearsy? If so, what are the dimensions and file type you need?

That question is well above my pay-grade, Louise.

This is why I thought I’d create negative brand associations to prick His papship action.

Once I’ve exhausted all of the cheap supermarkets, I’m going to go through companies that exploit workers, dodge tax, etc.

Sotonians, dodging emoticon taxation since 2015…

That sort of thing.

Anyway, I think it would be great for you to do it. I THINK I remember papster saying something about the dimensions he needs, but can’t find it.

I hope seeing the sotonians.com brand cheapened in this way will get you an answer!

We were promised Champions’ League emoticons (probably).

Just saying.

It’s a good tactic. I’ve admired your stance for many weeks. I just refuse to use them.

Well, let me know Papster, the offer is there. I’m no Bearsy, but I can probably manage Europa League.

Or if there’s another plan in place, then GAFMO!

Agree with GB the Pale Green Ghost is a great album. Love this Scandanavian Noir style video to the title track…

Check out his Glasto session from 2014…top stuff.

Dodgy band name leaves them at risk of being pigeonholed. Great tune though.

Back from driving 700 miles with the kids in the back of the car. They decided this was the song of the holiday. My proudest* moment as a parent so far.

* a deadly sin

Got bored of trying to shoehorn this into The Chain. Enjoying this young lady at the moment. Really interesting sound, particularly her voice. Think/hope Bletch & 'Slowlane may enjoy this, if they aren’t already aware.

Been revisiting this guys work this weekend and just got some priority tickets for his shows next year. We happened across his set at Reading Festival a few years ago.

Because I couldn’t shoehorn it into the Chain thread and KRG reminded me of the best ā€˜fucked up at 5am with mates’ song ever…

All the animals come out at night - whores, skunk pussies, buggers, queens, fairies, dopers, junkies, sick, venal.

Someday a real rain will come and wash all this scum off the streets.

I go all over. I take people to the Bronx, Brooklyn, I take 'em to Harlem. I don’t care. Don’t make no difference to me. It does to some. Some won’t even take spooks. Don’t make no difference to me.

Pleasant KRG, but it didn’t really grab me to be honest.

I’ll give it another couple of listens.

Rewatched the film, the soundtrack is great … Yann Tiersen
