šŸŽµ What are you listening to etc

Nope just checking them out in line. Missed John Grant at Glasto bury the other year. Think he played Hull this weekend for their city of culture. Sure we will try and catch them live at some point.

I take it you’ve seen this… :lou_lol:

Sadly not live. He was at union chapel tonight. That’s about half an hour from my house and I didn’t know. Fail.

Been some excellent tunes posted whilst I’ve been away. Good work gang.

I particularly approve of @fatso 's shoe-gaze session.

There’s no other way Steve

Never seen the Gorillaz live but it’s high on the bucket list

Snoop Dogg gets everywhere :lou_lol: a top ligger

They headlined but didn’t go down that well, except for Snoop

Yeah I remember, good apparently but a bit too laid back for the headline slot

I was there, I absolutely loved it.

Considering how short a time they had to pull it together (about 2 weeks when U2 pulled out) - it was a pretty awesome spectacle. The most amazing thing was at the end each song, the stage resembled a relay race - people going off and coming back out again. Lord knows how they co-ordinated that.

The Snoop thing was brilliant. He was playing on his own that day, so it was seen as a given they’d collab, given Snoop did a track on the Plastic Beach album that had just been released at the time. Gorillaz started on that track, but Snoop appeared in a VT - cue disappointment all round as folk think he’s left early.

Then, encore, Clint Eastwood, cheeky Damon grim. Loads of fun.

I’d recommend trying to see them, I’m certainly going to try and get down and see them if possible.
