God, Russel Brand is such a cock.
I find it difficult to watch these wonderful live performances now because they are tainted not only with the obvious sadness but from the anger I feel towards the media. At a time she desperately needed support she got riddicule and belittlement. At her lowest ebb the tabliods rolled out their daily, snide, sanctimonious shit about her and the general public lapped it up and laughed at every cruel joke.
Fuck 'em! We were lucky to have her…a special talent.

I agree lifeintheslowlane. I was thinking while watching the clips - how can what happened to her, happen in this day and age? I find it unbearable watching the clips when she wasn’t in a good place. But regardless of the shitty media and general public, she had a lot of love, and a lot of empathy from many many people.
