:pl: :westhamfc: West Ham v Southampton :saintsfc: (Live on :sky_logo: One)

Well, that was a steaming pile of :poop:

Just take a moment to look at the league table. It’s shocking where we ended up and the names above us. Villa, Palace and Newcastle are the worrying ones. Fuck we’ve fallen off the cliff. I’m not sure Ralph is the man to sort this out any more ? I love him but we’ve become dogshit in the space of 6 months. Top of the table to belly flopping over the line with a performance like today. That’s not injuries and all the other excuses that get trotted out. That’s Ralph getting the team set up right with the right tactics and mental focus to sort those weaselly twats out. Truly embarrassing and now we’ve got the transfer window to endure with all the gossip about ā€œthe selling clubā€. Pissed off :triumph:

What was the score? I gave up before half time and fitted a new shower screen instead.

I only found this out the other day, but they nicked it off Swansea in the 1920s when they had FA Cup fixtures in quick succession.

Theiving Cockney bastards - I’ve said it once and I’ll say it again. They deserve the porn barons and Karen Brady; never seen a worse or more entitled set of cunty fans

I’ll be delighted if we are a ā€œselling clubā€.

The whole fucking lot of them.

I’m pretty shit at my job and I make Redmond’s weekly salary annually. I’d really like to be that bad at my job

Didn’t see any of that as was driving. Sounds like a familiar story - should have been at least a couple of goals to the good before we gifted them two goals.

Then pretty well started looking for the final whistle and the beach. Not at all sure about the team. Was Ralph trying out ideas? But he said he wanted a strong finish and that should have been the strongest team. Tella, Walcott and even Djenepo should start ahead of Redmond and Minamino, who I don’t want to keep.

Not an excuse, but for teams like Saints this has been a brutal season: late start, incessant games, squad not big or strong enough to rotate. Which also led to injuries and even more pressure on those playing every game. It’s a farce when the likes of Man C can rotate a whole team out and still have a team to beat anyone.

And don’t forget the stresses on Ralph. He hadn’t been able to go back to his homeland all season. Everyone needs a break, rest, regroup, I next a couple of new players and come back hopefully refreshed and revitalised.

A strange season, and the sooner forgotten the better.

I think the problem is that everyone else in the league has been given the Saints Playbook.

We were rumbled early on and didn’t have a Plan B.

I’ll give him the benefit of the doubt if we come out of the traps next season with that Plan B, but also C, D and E…etc.

Luckily I missed the match as was what we call offshore working. What I have seen and heard so far its better I did. Although I have had a deluded Magpie come up and say if Newcastle had taken the points on offer from the teams around them they could have been in a european place. I did mention we were top in November and by the same shout should be in the champions league.

Ralph sounds as pissed as our fans on Twitter

Took an hour to come out for interview

Well we survived. But from a season that promised so much before Christmas it is a pretty poor outcome. Ralph is right - a lot has to change or we will be in the bottom 3 this time next year.
