Fewest goals scored at this stage of a season in our history. Is it any wonder?
I just find it so frustrating that all of the attacking players we bought in January, presumably because they are better than what we already had, canāt get in the team. Yet we are still so fucking toothless. Why we donāt try and incorporate a system that gets the massive centre forward (who has actually scored goals this season, albeit in a pants league) in the box to cause problems is beyond me.
Why did we abandon the Alcaraz support striker thing? At least heās got a couple of goals. Mara and Elyounoussi have ZERO premier league goals between them.
He did produce probably our best chance of the half,with a driving run.

Im also confused as to our preferred method of scoring goals today. Is it wide and cross, pass it in the back of the net or worldie outside of the box? I know we donāt do scoring goals well but we seem to have little idea when itās time to do the business (year long problem I know).
Thereās a reason we are crap against the bottom sides and those who sit deep. Thatās because the only way we know how to play involves pressing high and nicking the ball. Which you canāt do against two banks of four.
Are West Ham doing anything that any amateur fan couldnāt have predicted? Itās so obvious.
So back to my point above, why not have the big bloke in the mix so that we have the option of slinging it in from deep like JWP did twice against Spurs last season? For the love of fuck, please just try something different!
Maybe weāll claw a goal back in the second half but I doubt it and one point is no good for us at this stage.
