We were taught at school that when French people get excited they shout “Hats!” and throw their hats in the air. I’ve literally never seen it happen tho. Maybe if they make the semi finals fingers crossed.
Excited to see what happens with Claude. He seems to fit our model of taking unfinished players and improving them so that they are sold on for big profits.
Lots of positive noises coming out of France about what a good manager he is so hopefully we have unearthed another gem and have shown our scouting and process to be way less lazy than other clubs that are constantly looking for big money ‘star’ names.
Can’t wait to see what happens. Going to be very difficult to improve on last season but he seems committed to getting Champions League in next 3 years.

(note these are interpretations of what I have been told not a word for word interview with the source)

My only comment is that it seems somewhere that there may not have been total agreement with the idea that (someone) (let us guess - Les) transfers were done while Puel was on his way in. That may be something to keep an eye on over the coming months

Really warming to this guy, says a lot of good things and thinks about his answers and seems to go fairly in depth with them. Maybe he just gives the air of a thoughful man by pausing a lot due to English being his second language but I think he’s going to be a very good manager for us.
More and more excited for the new season the closer it gets.
