VVD deal agreed

If that story is correct (note it’s not in the Daily Fail, or told to Baz by a mate) then we should hurry and conclude the deal.

We should offer City a £2.5m discount to make sure that Klippity Cock and his fellow disullionists don’t get him. Then he can sit in the reserves again when their first team players have had a rest and a beer.

Hope that when he goes he turns out to be another one of those player who’s an overachiever at Saints but massively average elsewhere.

I hope you will be apologising to Les Reed over this post. Les has played Liverpool like a fiddle.

Really more like Man City and others have raised his price, we should be thanking them, thank Les for what? Poor signings, commitees, poor academy progression?

And perhaps by keeping him in the summer Les has played a blinder and put pressue on Liverpool to pay silly money for VVD as the supposed interest from other clubs increased?

As for poor academy progression, you do know that many young players at every club do not end up making the grade. How is it Reed’s fault if they do not progress as hoped? Name me one club where all of the young players progress to the first team season after season? While you are at it, name me one club that has never signed a duff player? If you are looking for a club to support where everything goes to plan, let me know when you find one.

Fucking hate Liverpool.

If Virgil is blown away at finally arriving at Liverpool I feel for his lack of ambition.

Donald Klopp has sold him a pup. :lou_lol:

Do they want an attacking midfielder who has the potential to become the next Thierry Henry?

And he’s injured…
