:trumpdumb: Trumped!

It’s real but you’re mistaking it for a Sanskrit symbol meaning “not a racist bone in my body”

I think I’ve been duped, that’s too insane to be real.

Trump’s America.
So a 9 year old scared child gives inconsistent responses. Weird.

The pigeons will come home to roost for Donald Trump and it can’t come soon enough. He makes me ashamed to be a human being.

I cannot believe how many, seemingly decent American people…many of them God fearing family people, wilfully refuse to see this piece of shit as he really is. He provides irrefutable evidence every day but they will not see it. Incredible.

The really scary thing is that millions of them, far from refusing to see him as he really is, see only too well what he is, and they lap it up, roar their approval. They really do think they are exceptional, have absolutely no concept of how they look to the rest of the world. They simply don’t care. ‘My country right or wrong’ is their mantra. More than a few of those sort over here as well.

Why? because we live in a time where his brass neck and his responses appeals to the limited and crass expectations of the ignorant. People who have been cleverly told not to believe what they see and hear or read in MSM, but to listen and spread the shit that appears in their twitter feeds and FB pages… sent by much smarter people, targeting the the gullible and the stupid.

But the US don’t have the monopoly on this, look at what we now have here on then day the pound sinks? Folks who have been convinced that the likes of Farage, Boris and Gove are not the establishment - whose ‘jolly japes’ and ‘enough of experts’ have resonated with many, told to distrust what they accepted before, but not replaced by something more valuable, but by more lies, and ignorance accepted as gospel…

Brexit IS and WAS only ever about getting these shits in power, I used to hope/believe, folks were just hoodwinked by promises of a better future, but as unfashionable as it might be, the fact that many have voted to be worse off when they already have nothing is plain stupid…

The fact we are becoming closer aligned to the despicable racist fuckers like Trump should be enough to make most regret voting Brexit, irrespective of the ills and issues with the EU.

Yeah that is a scary part. I have a good American friend who spent 5 years on a nuclear aircraft carrier. He became sickened by his compatriot’s behaviour in foreign ports, their sense of superiority and entitlement ensured he never signed-on again. They made him ashamed to be American.

I often think he’d be a good addition to Sotonians but I’m not sure he’d be allowed back into the US if they found he been contributing to such an Anti-American website.

NO moral or ethical compass is typical of those who believe only in their sense of self, no sense of community or integrity, Their OWN rights to be ignorant and greedy ahead of any real human spirit.

I have spent the last two weeks, in hospital, watching the amazing wonderful work of the NHS staff, treat my daughter who has been seriously ill. Under-resourced and stressed, yet always looking to put the patients and families first - from consultants down to the porters and cleaners… and cunts like Boris will happily see it sold to insurance based companies… following an American ideal.

I really dont give a flying fuck anymore about the few folks who voted Brexit because of some deep seated political ideology. You and the rest have opened the door for the dismantling of regulations and restrictions that safeguard many rights, safety, environmental and health policies that are not ‘European ideals’ but British ones, that will be sacrificed for profit and an ‘American dream’

That might all sound melodramatic, but as we become more economically desperate, Trump will take advantage and Boris and Gove et el only too happy to bend over and take whatever is on offer and whatever conditions.

I hope your daughter is on the mend - I had a scare with mine earlier this year. Not good when it happens, but it makes you as mad as hell against the Trumps, Johnson’s, Farage’s and assorted hangers-on who don’t give a shit about people who want to get on with their lives in a dignified way. :face_with_symbols_over_mouth:

The NHS has been being sold off for years. That has been enabled by anyone voting Tory.

Everything crossed… have not yet got a confirmed diagnosis, but thankfully docs now believe its most likely viral as opposed to anything more sinister, but its had me and Mrs MoT in tatters last week.

Still well up whenever I talk about it all as its fucked me emotionally.

Its why anything that may lead to a US health system where only the rich get the best care and anyone who lets it happen is a despicable loathsome excuse for a human being. Healthcare in a civilised society should never be about affordability, but is a right.

Interesting comments about FB and Twatter MoT.

I was only ever a halfhearted user of FB, but closed my account a few months back because of the increasingly constant anti-remain commentary appearing in my timeline. Wondered why but it seems my mistrust was well founded.

Twatter is slightly different as you can create your own echo chamber if you want - it’s also my favorite space to tweet bollocks / opinions in a few words to a largely unknown audience- a pressure release valve if you will, and not get too riled by responses unlike some forums where you actually know the respondents or have interacted over a long time…

Just some thoughts.

Edit: spelink

Yeah, all the best to you both and little Miss MoT. Having lived through a poorly child I wouldn’t wish it on anyone.

I’m finding twitter is becoming almost unusable. Just mirrors what is happening to UK Society I guess.
Luckily for me, I managed to restrict my FB to actual people I’ve met and they are all over the planet now.
I have one staunch Republican and he supports Trump because he is doing Republican stuff not nanny party left wing loser shit as he posts.
Much of what he shares show concerns at illegal immigrants being a burden on society healthcare abuse, etc, actually much the same divisions that have grown in the UK.
Deep down, much of this shit is imho a reaction to the displacement delt by people as PC eroded their view of the world.
PC was rammed down threats and was an industry where people had careers. PC has never really been about respecting other beliefs (politics & culture) it became a stick to ram ideas down the unwashed masses threats.
Trump & Boris show no respect let alone PC mess. And no, on it’s own PC and the old Mary Whitehouse Edwina Curry, talk down at us isn’t the reason we are doomed but it was one of the causes
The world got this mess because the unwashed were failed by education, and simply hot fed up being told what to do and what was right. MPs dont care, why should they.
