It’s abundantly clear that Trump said what he thought on Saturday, was pushed into saying stuff he didn’t remotely agree with on Monday, then reverted to his actual opinions on Tuesday. The strange and eerie silence from him between Saturday’s reaction (“On many sides. On many sides”) and Monday’s bizarre, forced-through-the-teeth statement spoke volumes, as did his body language as he made the statement on Monday.
He’s a racist, pure and simple. Plenty of actions in his past indicate that; his actions over the past year have confirmed it.
