I loe how Europe’s politiians all woke up today and realised Don cut them out the deal for Ukraine.
It’s not like he didn’t TELL ayone he was going to make peace this week, now they are all running around like headless chickens shouting Appeasement…
Maybe they could have noted and acted earier?
Maybe European politicians are soused to saying things and then not doing them that when someone actually rocks up and does what he promised to do, it blows their microchips

He’ll give up swathes of Ukraine to Putin which they won’t agree to. Even if Zelensky does agree to it his people won’t.
So, no, I don’t think Trump will have any success.
I think you underestimate him. Trump will use arms and money to pull Ukraine into line just like he did with Israel
He will give them a face saving way out but Ukraine will have to give up land so that Putin can save face. Trumps conversation with Putin was probably more down the line of what will it take for you to stop

Ukraine is losing. It will always lose a conventional war because it is a numbers game.
It might take 5 years but they simply have less drone fodder.
UK, France and Germany can all wail as much as they like, but Trump told them to spend significantly more on defence and they all did nothing. Trump is not going to foot the bill, he has found a sweet spot - Rare Earths and E European states will need to front it up & EU will have to pay

Agreed - It’s giving Putin a way out and on the face of it, it looks like he would stop being a global pariah- whether that’s right or wrong, it stops an unjust war I guess.
If Trump is so good he should get this done pronto then get a brain transplant and realistically sort out Gaza and put the Israeli government back in order. I suspect that ain’t gonna happen anytime soon….

Trump won’t, Putin won’t want NATO paying and the UN wants to arrest Putin so EU will have to foot the bill, they can’t send their own forces, they don’t have enough and Putin will not let American troops on his border
