not sure how cancelling all US trade would work - For instance how could we all be outraged without android or apple, How could we find triggering articles or conspiracy theorists without google or bing, how could we spread division and vitriol without twitter or face book.
On a serious point we need them far more than they need us - our entire technological existence is reliant on them, so unless you are up for living in the stone age (and I appreciate that you live in Scotland so it wont be a huge culture shock) then unfortunately we have to suck it up for 4 years until he is done

Us post have stopped all parcels coming in from china due to the new tariffs
Before anything under $800 value got in FOC, and Shein and Temu have filled their boots to the extent that half of all such parcels entering the US come from China - These are now subject to tax and all those parcels that havent paid up are stuck
We have the same problem in the Uk with Shein and Temu, although its not the first time we have experienced this - we fixed the problem that existed when there was VAT free imports from the channel Islands of CDs / DVDs. We could and probably should do it again with chinese tax free imports
