Did anyone see the debate from last night?
Rumours of Biden having dementia seem to be wide of the mark based on this performance.
Still doesn’t seem Trump-beatin’, who basically did his Trump thing for 90 minutes.
Trump showed his bias against various groups and from my american friends even some Trump supporters found it difficult to justify. They were also surprised that ‘sleepy Joe’ stayed the course and are now questioning Trumps assertion of senility

He’s certainly not a one-nation President. I do wonder how everything is the fault of the left. As far as I know, the US has never had one. The closest it came was in the 1920s-1940s.

Trump said he would condemn white supremacists but then did not. And specifically did not condemn one far right militia group. If you saw this, it’s all you needed.

It’s hilarious…Trump thinks anything left of his far right is Socialism/Communism and he takes his supporters very much along the same premise. Americans in general have no idea what real Socialism is, not a clue.

I have occasional insomnia (plus age related “having to get up for a piss in the night and finding it difficult to get back to sleep” syndrome) so I stuck on the TV during the night. After my usual fill of the Babestation channels, i did tune into part of the debate and saw a question on climate change. Trump was blathering on incoherently about European “forest cities” (without being specific) and how they manage the forests, unlike California, who are responsible for their own problems as they don’t manage forests. He is also a “big fan” of pure water and air and he makes sure the USA have the purest of pure water and the cleanest of clean air. Biden was equally fucking shambolic. He mumbled his way through some horseshit about bringing in policy that would see something like 4000 skyscrapers emit less “gas and electric” whatever the fuck that is supposed to mean. Biden struck me as being someone who could easily fit into Dad’s Army. Admittedly that is all i saw, so cannot comment on the whole thing, but it seems to me that Americans have the choice between who is the least worst candidate. So Trump will probably get another 4 years as Biden can’t live with his bravado. How depressing!

Read somewhere that Trump is having an affair with one of his staffers. Hope Hicks tested positive for Covid at the same time as Trump. Hmmmmm.
