i read that article earlier, b, and even the report itself. It was a Yes, No, or Don’t Know type deal. I don’t think it was more complication than that. I also don’t know why it matters.
Did the poll question say “Trump like ban?” I dont think it did. I think that bit was part of the article. I also think that you will find that 47% and 41% are not majorities.
Seriously 75%? And there was me thinking most were to ashamed to admit it.
Who did nbc get to do the poll, fascist weekly?
P.S I haven’t read it Barry. Not going to either, because if 75%(could be 100% if 25% didn’t say) admit being right wing, it’s hardly balanced is it.
it weren’t that, sog was wrong about that. It was 75% of people who admitted to being right wing wanted a ban. Not that 75% of everyone was right wing.
Interestingly, a third of the left wingers also wanted the ban.
Ok, cheers B.
Similar percentages to the referendum?
If so, how comes the British didn’t go for a wall? Maybe they remembered we’re an island and a wall would just spoil the view and make it harder to sell your house if you live on the coast.
Now i’m thinking about walls, has anyone told the people that want one about planes/tunnels? You won’t stop desperate people. They’re always the most ingenious.
Apologies, you are quite right Bear.
Re stopping immigrants getting into the States, it is all very well building a wall between Mexico and America but as you say SoS, what is to stop them getting elsewhere - via Canada or anywhere along the East or West coasts? That would have to be some wall.
It does tickle me that Iran make have a US travel ban, they aren’t going to implement it as they’ll lose face, have you seen lots of US citizens wanting to go there?
So poor old Donald is continuing to struggle to implement his travel ban with the US judiciary. His ban is described as being adopted with “little thought, little planning, little oversight.” Another victory for the sandal wearers.
crazy system. Trump can’t stop bros travelling, but he does have authority to bomb them seven countries to shit.
In some respects but this would have been thought out by his advisors, it says a far bigger message, America or the establishment doesn’t want you and we’ve have done all we can and the electorate can see we don’t want them, its not a case of one man dictating but a layer of policy that has been years in the making.
People are foolish if they think the administration are stupid, they didn’t get to where (the was some nepotism by Trump for some) they were by being foolish.
Isn’t he detrimental to the United States?
Does he have any advisers? He looks like he makes it up as he goes along. Anyway it is good to see the judiciary standing up to the bigotted racist twat.
The benefits of having a written constitution.
We’re fucked if we ever get a Trump character.
But we have the Magna Carta!
They not standing up to him, they doing their job Jesus wept man.
On appeal it will probably go through but that’s not the point as I said they’ve made their intention known and acted on it, if it doesn’t go through it is actually worse as it weakens the leader and his power, not just him future Presidents.

Is that a constitution?
It’s what a lot of the British “Constitution” was based on, even the American constitution is based, in part, on it.
