:tories: Tories in trouble?

I wonder if Barry thinks that those coming from overseas with no qualifications should be granted the same treatment as those with.

Ha ha of course not, I just don’t like preferential treatment, thats capitalism for you, socialism loves the doers and strivers but doesn’t like people being left behind, nothing wrong with that.

If it were reciprocal from the Nation they were coming from there could possibly be a case for it yes but it would obviously depend on where the people were coming from.

On flat rate no doubt all over the weekend…

The care for the elderly and terminally ill in this Country is shameful and this includes previous generations, shouldn’t have to sell of your home for care, higher taxes better care, nevermind the junior doctors what about the people on minimum wage in care homes? Not qualified I suppose so fuck em? Thats the thoughts on this “socialist” forum.

Did I miss this thread or is it just a Bazzism?

Loads of faux socialists on here Goat, if you have qualifications you qualify for weekend enhancements, if you aren’t academically inclined you’re fucked, shame thought people were better than that.

It was Dbl Time Sunday When I Worked At Waitrose.

Lidl.

Lets all get down to Waitrose then as few others do it, in fact they dont.

I have qualifications and don’t get any weekend enhancements. So I don’t think it as cut and dried as you say. I just get time off in lieu. From my experience it’s often the manual workers who got weekend enhancements (this has decreased over the years). I once worked a night shift and got a whole pound extra an hour for unsociable hours. That was the enticement to work unsociable hours. But unfortunately there is no law to have to pay extra. I do think there should be enhanced payments for night work and unsociable hours as they often have a detrimental effect on people’s health.

I think doctors should be paid the same as Asda employees.

I think it depends. If you do full week, and then work i.e. Sat or Sun it is always Time+Half or Dbl Time wherever I’ve worked, but if you only ever work Sat and Sun so i.e. it’s not overtime it’s ur usual hours it’s not the Same Thing. Which makes sense really, otherwise someone could earn as much working i.e. just Fri-Sun, than someone who’s grafted all 5 day week…

Really? I think you’re teasing Lord of the Lard.

Word. Qualified Bros often get it worse in that regard. In my Last Job, I was doing Civil Engineerings, hours was crazy and mostly unpaid. I.e. one week when we was trying to get a Road Opened, I worked Mon all the way through till Sunday Night, starting on site at 6am and not finish till the nightworks went on at like 9pm, and I didn’t get any more money at all cos I was Salary.

Salary offers or should offer many more things (that said just been shafted on my pension), a society should look after the most needy surely? Good fair pay, no top ups and work must pay, it simply can not be right that its better to be on the social than to work, Bevan would have kittens if he saw the mess the system is now.

It would be gd if that was true Barry, but I’ve looked into going on the dole, and I make more money working.

Have you a mangina? How many kids have you got? Pap will know the area but go to Speke in Liverpool and I can assure you its a lifestyle choice for some, it must pay as people wouldn’t do it, if you get a crap wage at asda with no weekends enhancements and you are on your own i can assure you work doesn’t pay.

Both these are basically the same point, neither of which have any basis. Do they?

BS indeed.

They do sound a bit Made Up. Is the other thing Truth? I suspect that bros on benefits would be better off Working, but perhaps not As Much better off as they Would Like. However, I’m not bothered enough to go as far as Liverpool to find out.

These are sisters not bros I’m refering to Bearsy.

Oh. That doesn’t sound v.equality RIP.
