:tories: Tories in trouble?

Amazing what a dose of reality can do to a person - remember their only motivation in life is to keep their snouts in the trough.
Polling equal to or lower than the LibDems and they hear the sound of the Job Centre calling and having to do something without the same expenses deal

It will be interesting now to see how much trouble Johnson’s acolytes in the Commons are inclined to make. Chope is already on record saying that the parliamentary party will be ungovernable, only Johnson has any real mandate, and that a general election should be held. He, of course, has a very safe seat indeed, so presumably he won’t be too scared of losing it. Others, however much they love Johnson (or owe to him) may not feel the same.

I think a good chunk will rally round - in fact I was reading that some MPs were going to vote Rishi despite coming out publicly for Boris

Just reflecting on how Liz Truss must feel - a career pushing towards getting the top job, finally getting your hands on the prize, then to be found so utterly wanting so publicly so quickly. How do you come back from that? Can you come back from that?

I genuinely hope not.

Let it be a salutary lesson for people who think they’re better / more capable than everyone else.

When even my Youngest said - Liz Truss as PM is just like my Mum getting the job. So totally not her thing

Yes George, of course they could. Where would we be without the searing political insight of a former Star Trek actor, eh?

Perhaps the Lib Dems will have her back? :thinking::smile:

Many Tory party members would suggest several dozen more MPs could join her

As both Labour and Tories have spent so much time in the centre the respective centre wings are almost indistinguishable from each other and I would suggest many have done what Liz has done - given up on the Libs as a lost cause for govt and set aside their principles in favour of their personal ambition to be a minister

The only choice then is which way to go Left or Right

God I can still remember when he was a precoscious school boy at one of Thatchers conferences and thought that cunt is going to stay a cunt all his life.
I was bloody right.

Sunak standing in front of No 10 announcing that he has been “elected” Prime Minister to fix the mistakes made by Truss is surely the ultimate piss take. Elected?! We are being taken for fools by these entitled wankers.

Maybe he just has a problem pronouncing his 's’s?

Fuck you are right but they have all morphed into one common enemy.

Truss giving leaving speech. The kids don’t look like they want to be there do they.

Sunak = Will

Boris = Jay

May = Simon

Truss = Neil

Is Penny Mordaunt Will’s mum?
