Not to mention the beds blocked in hospital as patients cannot be released to outside care safely. Currently over 200 beds in SGH taken up because of this.

Amazing how easy, compared with Truss, it was for Hunt to appear balanced and sane on the media round today.
Several things are clear. Truss didnât appoint him, she was forced to take him. He is barely concealing his criticism of Truss and the mini-budget and presenting himself as the stabilising influence whoâll sort it out. He wants to be PM and will be within weeks, or even days, after Truss is thrown out and a three line whip issued to ensure a single candidate and a coronation.
That will win back votes but not heal the splits in the parliamentary party.
My sister was a carer but when they stopped paying the petrol bill and use of her own car she gave up as the wages never paid the bills

Not a great fan of Extinction Rebellion but this is a step too far - very fascist government
There was fire engine held up this week because of these protests and they have held up ambulances in the past - fine people can protest but the consequences their ânon-violentâ protests are going to seriously hurt someone at some point - it has to stop
Maybe motorists should start carrying glue and when they drag these twats out of the road they can glue them to something out of the way
