:tories: Tories in trouble?

From the Harry Enfield Show, surely?

I must have missed that when it was first posted. Surely that’s a piss take? It can’t be genuine.

I only came across this piece of information today. Wow!

Anti-abortion MP Jacob Rees-Mogg admits profiting from sale of abortion pills

May the absolute opposite of strong and stable today.

Is it not a bit odd that the PM who lead the Tories to such a resounding success of a campaign, according to Boris, is now effectively begging on her hands and knees for forgiveness for the same campaign?

An absolute car crash of a speech. Coughing fit’s, losing her voice, what could be comprehended was meaningless drivel. She is getting absolutely slaughtered from the faithful in the Telegraph, so surely the game is up. The general consensus among the political pundits across the board is that this was the worst speech from a Party leader ever. Apart from the BBC, who are desperately trying to spin it in her favour. I had to laugh at Amber Rudd ordering Bozo Boris to get to his feet and applaud. I see Lee Nelson, who handed her the P45, has been arrested and charged with causing a breach of the peace. What a shambles. The icing on the cake was the backdrop behind her falling apart as she droned on. When even theirprops are saying F off the writing is on the wall. All that was lacking was the theme from Monty Python playing as she left the stage!

As has been documented many times, I’m somewhat agnostic on the religion front.

She isn’t. Hopefully she’ll see this as a message from God.

As long as said deity doesn’t intend to replace her with “Bozo the clown” Johnson.

I particularly like that it says “What a whopper”. Bazza will be delighted.

I accidently favourited that but will stick with it. I need to read the report but having heard some of the headlines I cannot believe the audacity of this government whose policies adversely affect the people they’re saying shouldn’t be treated this way. I’d have a big rant about this in regards to my work but I can’t as have to respect privacy and standards.

I reckon pap’s post is absolutely fair comment. May’s department was responsible for the van, which invited,( successfully), legions of racists to ring in and report illegal immigrants, most of whom were in the country legally. It had to be quickly scrapped as the sheer volume of false, malicious reports couldn’t be coped with. As for our esteemed Foreign Secretary, he is on record as describing people from Commonwealth African countries as, “Piccaninnies with water melon smiles”. Clearly a racist. As you rightly say, the sheer hypocrisy and audacity is staggering.

It’s been ongoing for years, from all of them(i did point out the nazi language, and i’m probably the most linguistically challenged person on here). Division is their weapon of choice(it’s cheap, effective and oh so fucking easy, no need to think, just point the finger).

"It’s sad that government ministers required a judge to tell them it was wrong to lock up the victims of torture. Now we need a proper apology. The way the Conservatives have used immigration detention centres has been disgraceful. Theresa May fought tooth and nail to try and stop ending child detention in these places. The UK is the only European country with no time limit on immigration detention."q
