Well that’s a good solid start. A 2 - 1 win against a quality side…Belgium are no mugs so beating them is a warning to the other top sides going through to the quarter-finals. I thought Lukaku had a very quiet game…Stones had him in his pocket throughout.

The ref was a twat, seemingly oblivious to the WWE antics during our corners and free kicks. The team kept plugging away. We’ve got a fucking goalscorer, and he is already off the mark.

In the grand scheme of things, we still have a soft penalty shout against us to be waved play on and two obvious VAR penalties that weren’t given which we have in the bank for when we need them.
Thought Trippier had a great game, Lindgard vanished seond half as did Alli, but shows what a difference a goalscorer could make to a team - even Saints
