Tbh it was Mrs P_F’s 1st visit & has sorted most of her Xmas shopping for MiL in one hit and I earned a hero badge.
She’s now in the queue to pay.
I have time for a MaccyD and watch Avatar 2 before she gets out!

OMG.
Out & about early see Pleasure Thread later, drop Mrs P_F at work on way home drop into the Polish version of Lidl to see if they had any of their Thick Cut Smoked Back bacon - yep - and they were just loading a delivery of Fresh Turkeys into the display cabinet!
Picked mine out, went to get some Vodka and boom the whole lot had sold out in about 5 minutes!
Talk about timing! We is doing Christmas!

Took Mrs Dizzyfeet and Little Dizzyfeet to meet the big man in Lapland.

He was a proper unit - at least 6’ 4. I should have brought him home… No doubt he could do a turn for us upfront.

Amazing trip though and would recommend it to anyone who has young children or grand kids. Quite magical!

And £6k spare floating around

Borrow it from Phil’s sweepstake money.

It could just ā€œrest in your accountā€. :+1::grin:

Only another 74 sweepstakes to go then…

Wasn’t quite that much, but it was pricey!

Yeah, there’s 5 of us, looked at the prices recently.

For 1 night and sample experiences it was £3½k
For 3 nights, full experiences, and meeting Santa and the Elves, half board as well, it was near £6k

I’m going to be honest here, and this is going to hurt me as much as it hurts you.

Santa doesn’t really exist, mate. The adults lied to you. :rage::rage:

I am having a great time Xmas shopping

I am laughing my cock off at the increasingly frustrated dads who are taking their offspring shopping for mum

I’ve already lost count of the muttered FFS

I had a smirk yesterday at the poor souls scouring the middle aisles in Lidl looking for anything

Mrs P_F wants a watch. She has been looking for a particular style online in shops for weeks and has accepted she will get her present when she finds it.
Meanwhile she couldn’t find her old dangly earrings. Phew. Sorted
Now for a Birthday present for her for 27th :man_facepalming:

The Big Issue seller in Winchester is also good value

Spies woman walking down street with a package

ā€œMadam, what a lovely box you haveā€

ā€œIt’s massiveā€

ā€œDo things rattle around in there?ā€
