đŸ‡ș🇾 💣 The US Presidential Race

Might not be over yet.

Julian Assange, the founder of WikiLeaks, has said his organisation is preparing to publish more emails Hillary Clinton sent and received while US secretary of state.

Clinton, the presumptive Democratic presidential nominee, is under FBI investigation to determine whether she broke federal law by using her private email in sending classified information. A new WikiLeaks release of Clinton emails is likely to fan a controversy that has bedevilled her campaign and provide further ammunition for Donald Trump, her Republican presidential rival, who has used the issue to attack her.

Assange’s comments came in an interview on ITV’s Peston on Sunday. “We have upcoming leaks in relation to Hillary Clinton
We have emails pending publication, that is correct,” Assange said.He did not specify when or how many emails would be published.

Unfortunately, it appears as if the FBI may prefer to keep the indictment “in the bank”.

Assange said it was highly unlikely that the US attorney general, Loretta Lynch, would indict Clinton. “She’s not going to indict Hillary Clinton, that’s not possible. It’s not going to happen. But the FBI can push for concessions from a Clinton government,” he said.

Do you reckon HillaryClinton.com is where the Feds are getting their info?

No, but I don’t reckon that the various persons who are predicting Hillary will be prosecuted are getting their information from the Feds. Keep in mind that since the 1992 election, Republicans have run a long standing campaign to convince the American voter that the Clinton’s are crooked. With the exception of Bill lying about his sex with Lewinsky, nothing has yet panned out. Yet,Hillary now has a reputation for being dishonest. Given how many lies the Republicans tell all the time on virtually every issue, I would suggest that Hillary Clinton is a more reliable source of information that her opponents.

Of course, that doesn’t mean she did nothing wrong with the email thing. I actually don’t know and I am not inclined to spend my time researching the laws to figure it out. But based upon past performance, I am relative confident her critics will be proven wrong, but they will never admit it.

You should probably read up on Hillary Clinton. There’s a reason that the Republicans have hammered on her history. It’s viable, and you’re going to see all of it (Trump has used the case of Vince Foster already) in the run up to the campaign.

She’s managed to get herself into more trouble as Secretary as State.

Just some of the stuff from Bill’s women, corroborated, is reprehensible.

Barring a Sanders hail mary, I think you’re fucked either way.

Following on from that, looks like (unsurprisingly) both candidates aren’t exactly popular

https://www.washingtonpost.com/news/the-fix/wp/2016/06/15/negative-views-of-donald-trump-just-hit-a-new-high-7-in-10-americans/

According to the polls in the article, 70% have an unfavourable view of Trump and 55% have an unfavourable view of Hildog.

Redslo, not that I imagine you can or even want to speak for the common Republican, but are the saner parts of their party wishing Trump dead?

Or, is it simply power at all costs?

Trump is Tango Man with a weird comb over /comb forward - & don’t even start me on his politics - If anyone has taken the time to read anything about his early privileged life and his dodgy business past then you’ll realise what a liability he is to the world economy and world peace. No doubt Our Nige and Boris will hold him up as a paragon of decency - personally I’d twat him with a big bit of 2 x 4 - repeatedly

The Pope and Hillary are on the same stage in Yankee Stadium in front of a huge crowd.

The Pope leans towards Hillary and said, "Do you know that with one little wave of my hand I can make every person in this crowd go wild with joy?** This joy will not be a momentary display, but will go deep into their hearts and they’ll forever speak of this day and rejoice!" **

** Hillary replied, “I seriously doubt that! With one little wave of your hand
Show me!” **

** So the Pope backhanded her and knocked her off the stage! **

** AND THE CROWD ROARED & CHEERED WILDLY and there was happiness throughout the land! **

** Kind of brings a tear to your eye, doesn’t it?**

It’s at this time of year that I would normally wish our rebellious friends across the Atlantic a happy Independence Day.

This year, you really can’t.

Not without sounding like you’re taking the piss.

FBI chief faces Clinton emails questions

FBI director James Comey to answer questions from Congress on Thursday over Hillary Clinton email investigation

This is meaningless. The republicans in Congress are always trying to make up scandals but holding hearings that are complete farces. Nothing can possibly come of this.

A large FBI budget in a Clinton administration?

The republicans are likely to control the house even if Clinton wins the election so probably no budget increase for the FBI. Plus, Hillary is not likely to be particularly happy with the FBI since the FBI head gratuitously slammed her at the very unusual press conference where he announced that no charges would be filed.

As an example, there is the statement that it is possible that foreign agents got ahold of her email Well, sure it is possible, but there is no evidence that it happened. It is also possible that Hillary was forwarding all her email though a secret back door directly the the Russians. Also, the claim that Hillary was not telling the truth when she said that she wanted all her email on one device because she used multiple devices seems to be a willful misunderstanding. If I said I wanted all my email on one device I would mean one device at a time. I would like to be able to access it all on my computer when I am at my computer. I would like to be able to access it all on my ipad when I am using my ipad. Etc. In other words, I would like one email account.

That being said, I have to admit I have four email accounts: a business account, a personal account which I use alot for business, the one I needed to create to like my blog up properly, and an old personal one that I have to keep active but I never use because it go so filled with spam. If Hillary had asked my advice I would have told her to keep business and personal emails separate but her failure to do so was not criminal.

Compare what the Bush administration did:

It’s a good job it ain’t getting personal over there.

Yipe.
