He is close to transcending the sport already. Great result.
I knew a bit of UFC-porn would draw you into losing your Sotonians virginity.
Ladies and Gentlem_a_n, Rust Cohle is my best mate in real life.
Please welcome him and encourage him to share.
Even better than the last âwelcomeâ Iâm weeping internally
Xxx
As Rust would attest, I like UFC, but if I watch it late at night I struggle to get rid of the adrenalin so that I can sleep.
It really find it gets under my skin in a way that Boxing doesnât. For that reason, I think it must be the purest form of contact sport - and this from a man that has watched and enjoyed boxing all his life.
Thatâs not to say I enjoy every fight, Iâm not enough of a student of the sport to be able to understand/enjoy the wrestling/jujitsu stuff.
Iâll âchoke you outâ next time we meet up. Youâll enjoy it.
I upvoted your post in anticipation of Fatso downvoting it.
Hello Rust Cohle. In honour of securing your participation, I have watched the first fight from last nightâs PPV. A gypsy woman was legally selling copies door to door. One hell of a coincidence, that. Anyway, it is my opinion that the EastEnder wasnât quite sparked, and that he didnât think he was either. Was the ref correct to stop the fight?
He was definitely right ro stop the fight. He wasnât able to defend himself and wouldâve therefore taken more unanswered punches despite its reputation itâs actually a lot safer than boxing in my humble opinion. The refs are very quick to step in plus due to the smaller gloves a good punch will usually end things rather than the cumulative effect from the larger gloves in boxing.
Iâve now seen all of the recent PPV. Iâve watched bits and pieces before, but never anything with quite the prolonged intensity that had. Have to admit, Iâm not quite sure where I stand on the safety issue. These people are getting proper broken. Most that appeared in UFC 189 are now suspended from further action until theyâre completely checked out.
Rory MacDonaldâs âfracturedâ nose looked more like a ânon-existentâ nose by the end of his scrap with Lawler.
