As disappointing as it is, it is no surprise so best it happens sooner rather than later so that we can get a clearer picture of who we have to work with and can go get the players we want. I wouldn’t be surprised if we go in for Grimes now.
Same goes for Lavia. Liverpool have been disgraceful in their pursuit of him. That has been the one benefit of us being shit for the last few years, we haven’t had to deal with their tapping up antics.
