They are selling us these youngsters and inserting buy back clauses so that they can continue to “control” them. Those were Pep’s words. But the fact we are selling the best of the bunch before the clause kicks in, and to one of their closest rivals, surely won’t please them. Sure they’ll get a sell on fee but they hardly need the money.
Seeing as we unashamedly shop in the City youth set up for players and directors, it makes me wonder if this’ll affect the relationship going forwards. Maybe it’s purely business and there’s no sentiment in it.
But we ought to keep them sweet otherwise they might not give us a refund for Bazunu and Larios.

Just saw a report on Burnley having a 9m bid for Tella rejected, (says we’re looking for 15-20m,) which also mentioned that we’re interested in Mason Holgate as a replacement for Caleta Car. 
Wages a problem as his contract puts him on 72m a week, apparently Leeds are after him as well.
He must be well good to command that salary
