yeh i guess they could try and go with more tested but Kastanaras would be similar to Broja. been involved in a goal every 70mins over 4kmins just whether he has the pace.
this chelsea link seems to be paying off. i would look at united soon as they have 2 ST’s who are just goal machines in their reserves, 1 came over from city. they were involved in 94 goals between them last season!

I remember the name from 3 years ago when he went to Rangers. We were being linked with him back then so we’ve clearly kept tabs.

That is the most urgent need. Liam Delap from Man City continues to get name-checked as a loan possibility
Or two, now Long has followed Broja out of the door. I’m going to be optimistic about this and say that Delap or another top youngster will come on loan but we will also sign a more established bloke for decent money.
Whilst it’s a priority, our new ownership hasn’t changed the fact that we still have to wait and let the big boys have their pickings first and once certain players who were holding out for a top six move realise they aren’t getting it, then they will accept our offering. So naturally these sort of moves happen later in the window for clubs like ours.
Alternatively we are still actively in for Broja but Chelsea either want to see him in preseason or at least get bodies in first after loaning out Lukaku.
But in the latter case, Wham and the Saudis are our competition so I’m not convinced that’ll happen anyway.

I have seen mulitple reports that Tuchel wants to see Broja in pre-season before deciding if they will keep him.
Yeah I read a lot of stuff to that effect but then saw this today. Obviously could be bollox though.
Nothing we didn’t already know really - we need a striker who can score goals.
