That’s the strongest coke he’s ever snorted.

£60m, they’re having a giraffe, surely…

Terrific. With him there now, along with Kane and Son, we are guaranteed to concede at least 3 goals on the opening day.

That’s being bloody optimistic

Ding dong, Shane Long is gone

It’s going to be hard to replace his goals.

Jokes aside, a few years back he was a decent player to have in the side when there were others around him who could find the net. His work rate and pace offered a great first line of defence and he was also a great sub to bring on and defend a lead.

All the best Shane

That semi final goal, obviously. And the fastest ever Premier league Goal.

Gave everything, seriously popular too :+1:

So assuming Broja won’t be returning, we need two strikers. One will almost certainly be a kid (Delap of City perhaps) but now that Shane’s not insignificant wages are off the books, I’d like to HOPE we are looking for somebody a little more established as well.

Also, now that ‘loyalty bonuses’ have been sorted at the end of June, it’ll be interesting to see which other senior players leave. There’s noise around Bednarek going and clearly there needs to be a couple of departures out of Djenepo, Walcott, Tella, Redmond and Elyounoussi. Only the latter had any sort of meaningful impact last year and all except Tella are entering their final year of contract I believe.

Shifting them will be the trouble as I can’t imagine who’d be willing to pay money for them given the seasons they’ve just had (Elyounoussi aside). I expect loans later in the summer as the most likely scenario.

Theo will be welcomed in MLS

Assuming his stock hasn’t fallen too low since leaving Arsenal…
