Only one leg?

The last thing you need is him putting a leg on the bonfire, that will kick up a right stink.

Which reminds me.

I see that you guys have really hit rock bottom.

Prime Time TV is now about normal people getting their hair cut live at home.

:lou_facepalm_2:

(All for a good cause of course) Not sure how long wonky stream will last. Who is a Miranda?

Great to see Lord Melchett back on TV loved his ā€œprankā€ Zoom call and yes, it was cool who was on the other end of it! Fair play to Wills’

Also Rishi popped in with a good word and a surprise - giving away more of your money.

And Mrs P_F finally realised Catherin Tait wasn’t just a Dr Who sidekick!

So I did my first clap tonight. It’s not that I don’t care. I do care, which is why it has usually been more important to be tending to my pharmaceutical supply chain brief instead of clapping like a seal on the dioorstep for people I’m helping anyway.

Tonight, I had both the time and the inclination. I clapped like a fucking seal, and I am glad I did.

Believe it or not, there are a lot of silver linings to this horrific madness. I can’t remember the last time I felt so joyous at seeing other human beings just because they were human beings.

Hopefully, this will stick, and we’ll all look at each other like that in the future, even if I suspect, it is only for a short while.

Zoom works to an extent but nothing replaces seeing some one, anyone in the flesh

We will be outside at 5pm tomorrow getting arseholed in the street with the neighbours again - it is one of the highlights of the week

Mourinho!
Tommy Fleeetwood

I did enjoy this one tonight innit

Extracted from the diaries of an Uber cunt…

April 24th

It a lovely day today, hardly a wisp of breeze in the air. I have got all that wood laying around to get rid of. I know I will light a Bonfire. Whilst I am at it I can get rid of all that packaging, I know it’s plastic but it burns quickly.

Some of the neighbours have their windows open and washing on the line, that’s ok they can close them and rewash the clothes - no lasting damage done there

The eldest bought a rice cooker the other night. Fuck me, the quality of the rice was amazing. I will have to read the instruction manual.

Call yourself a real, albeit short, man?? Real men, of any height, don’t read instruction manuals…

Whilst I totally condone this sentiment with regards to a rice cooker, I haven’t quite got round to jettisoning the instructions for the fryer. I have a deep seated fear of napalming the kitchen - actually it’s more a deep seated fear of the Ayatollah’s reaction to said napalming

It’s Friday afternoon, and unless there is a fuckening, I am probably done with work for the day. Work is pretty chilled at the moment. We are getting a lot of time to look at things, and as such, have solved a few long-term issues along the way. We’re in really good shape for everything on the horizon, and because we operate in the pharmaceuticals business, everything is still going on.

We’re even winning new stuff; we’ve got meetings with major household name brands for new installations. We do automation and during this crisis, the value seen in automation has naturally gone up.

Keeping my business head on, I know there is a shitload of talent out there that has been treated particularly poorly,. Most of my contractor mates were terminated immediately, and with IR35 coming up, the guidance behind the self-employed not really covering dividends, that is majorly going to change things.

I was expecting to be able to pluck new staff from a rush of people just seeking to avoid the IR35 legislation. I’m now expecting a stampede.
