I have always admired this scouse map, partly for its simplicity and broad accuracy, but also because I live in the bit marked “sound” (Barry plans to move to “wools”).
Now we’ve a fine mapping heritage at Sotonians. At least of us have served Queen and country in the esteemed halls of Ordnance Survey.
We also do a fair trade in applying derogatory labels to things.
I’d quite like to do a Sotonians map of the local area.
Give us your derogatory local place names so that I can mark them up. Nothing racist please.

If sir looks carefully, one will observe the borders, drawn in biro, which clearly mark Walton out as “sound”.
