Firefly is real, itās a space western in the Whedon style (he of Buffy fame). It is very good. It is a shame they didnāt make more and itās also a shame that they decided to make the first ten minutes of the movie a giant exposition bomb for folk that had never seen the show.
One of the reasons itās so beloved is that itās funny. One of the reasons itās so missed is because it has this run on episodes late in its first season which were brilliant, each better than the last.
Is it on netflix?
Not sure. It was on Prime, but not anymore. 15th Anniversary edition BluRay can be picked up quite cheaply.

I got a boxed set VHS at HMV in a sale only about 10 years ago.
Prime is starting to piss me off because theyāre slowly increasing the amount of content that you have to pay for.
Not that I mind paying for something I really want to watch, but some of it is like trying to choose something from what was left in Blockbuster on a Saturday night.

I actually own a copy of The Whoopee Boys. There was a time when I didnāt think that possible.
Perhaps it was because there was so much choice and quality in the free to access stuff that I didnāt notice the stuff you could purchase.
I think theyāve always been a bit devious on that front. When it first span up, theyād produces thumbnails for each season of a show.

Hmm. Iāve never read the books so I donāt know how long they go on for.
Last season was probably my least favourite. Appreciate that they did something different, but it ended up feeling like a 12 episode away mission, mixed with a bit of Bobby and ChrisJen.
I enjoyed it. Got they wanted to expand the alien-ness on That Planet.
But with such an enormous canvas they spent such a long time on āpoliticsā, which is, actually the real storyline to date.
So I put up with it.
Apparently the whole of the 4th book was set on Ilus and there was no Bobbie and OPA storylineā¦
The Expanse books are set to go to 9 volumesā¦
Yeah, they pilfered the Draper stuff from some novellas, I believe. Not sure it worked.
All I hope is that it has an ending.
