Koeman had never heard of Josh Sims according to the post match interview. Either he’s lying or he genuinely wasn’t interested in our academy.
Either way that makes him a twat.

Great game. Good debut for Sims. Again a lit more chances going begging.
What was with the PA system today? Just because it can be turned up to 11, doesn’t mean it has to.
PARDON???
The precise quote from Koeman is
“I wasn’t aware of Josh Sims when I was here and he is not my problem - I work for Everton, not Southampton.”
Well you should have been aware if you were doing your fucking job properly - and you are now!
Not at all surprised he didn’t know who Josh Sims was…according to Sam McQueen’s parents, (talking to friends on the plane to Prague) Koeman only spoke to Sam once… and that was, “Get me a coffee boy”
I really really liked Koeman when he was here and was really annoyed that he left, but it seems he is a complete CUNT!
I’ve been banging on about Sims for 3 seasons so it just goes to show what a fucking cunt that ginger prick must be.
Great debut from him but there’s more to come. Played on the left for the under 23’s against Chelsea last week and looked just as comfortable on the right today. Got a goal in him too.
Chuffed with the win today. Much tidier passing with some nice one touch stuff through the midfield. Hojbjerg, JWP and Romeu were a good deal more physical than usual. Good stuff.
Also, if John Stones is worth £50m+ we are going to get approximately 8 fucktonnes for VVD. He could play against most forwards whilst reading a book and wearing a smoking jacket. Best CB in the league. Easily.
A bit nervy but happy days.
Missed the start as my nipper was sick, what was Kuntmans reception like ?
And I apologise to block 12 for shouting: “Get off your line you fucking lump” at Forster. Clean sheet so I’ll let him off.
He got a bit of grief from the Kingsland/Itchen throughout but only about a 5 on the Lovren scale.
Difficult to tell what reception he got as we were all having a rave party at 150 decibels when he came out.
This comment from Puel about Sims sums up the difference between Puel and Koeman nicely.
I used to think Koeman was great, but now i look at all the players that he appears to have held back and i don’t just mean academy kids.
JWP went backwards(looked shit scared all the time), looks a different player now and looking like he may turn out to be the player we all hoped.
Cedric wasn’t trusted at all. Getting better all the time. Will be another one all the money clubs are after soon(ish).
Romeu. Hard to believe it’s the same player. Always rated him, but in such a short space of time, he’s gone from running around like a headless chicken at times, to a completely calm midfield general.
Yoshida actually looks like he’s confident and reading the game much better with less mistakes(still only back up though. Sorry Yoshi).
Tadić. Yes even Dusan seems a more reliable player. Don’t see so much of the sulking and just more of a team player.
Now we can add in the academy kids getting game time and it’s a hell of a change in a short space of time.
Am i alone in thinking they all look more confident in themselves and their abilities and it’s showing? I don’t think Redmond would look so happy lately or willing to try things if Koeman was still here.
I’m enjoying watching the change under Puel(Prague aside), even though I know there’s going to be some more frustrating times as he settles in.
Goals, or the lack of is my only real concern. Oh yeah and Martina.
Behind that dull exterior Claude definitely has a sense of humour…
Shall I play safe and go with Jayrod or Shane?
Nah, let’s do things the Southampton Way and fuck over the Dutchman with one of the kids that he wrote off.
He wasn’t interested in our academy, he admitted it. Checked them out and announced that none them were good enough, then didn’t even bother to go and watch them play! Came back to bite him on the arse! Fair play to Puel to start Sims, he had a greadebut, very encouraging that Puel had the bottle to play him, hands up, who would have seen that coming? Josh who? A good 3 points, the only down side for me is that Redmond started, i’m sorry but he is not a Saints type player, fucking useless, couldn’t hit a cow’s arse with a banjo in front of goal, every time he gets the ball he gives it away. Sam McQueen should start before him, the lad stepped up when Bertrand was injured, played out of his skin, needs encouraging. No wonder Liverpool are sniffing round, if we are not careful we will lose him in January, reports already that he is stalling on a new contract. His agent will be in his ear looking for his 10%. Fucking parasites!
Sweet win a bit bit nervy at the end. Hodjberg (spelling whatever) my MOM. I liked Koeman when he was manager, no sympathy for the guy now to be honest.
I agree with you about VVD, twice the player Stones is. Unfortunately he will be gone in January for a lot less. We really fucked up there.
He won’t go in January

We shall see. I would love to be proved wrong. Sadly i think you will be the one eating humle pie.
Why would he leave for a lot less when he has 5 years left on his contract?
When he goes it will be to Madrid, Barca, Bayern etc. Man City could do with him and he’ll be more expensive than the v.average Stones.
how?
