Wow indeed.
Fuckin’ Tories ploy to deflect from Boris’ car crash performance tonight.
Rumour has it that he’s keen on return to St Mary’s.
Notice just posted in the Old Trafford dressing rooms…
“NO FALKLANDS JOKES, HE DOESN’T LIKE THEM.”
Tottenham sack manager Mauricio Pochettino after five years in charge -
IMHO Think the UCL Final came too early for Spurs to win it, and he & their squad have seemed broken since.
Nice work getting sacked when disgruntled. Mega pay off and his pick of where he goes next
Such a shame
Bwahahahaha
That’s it innit? He’ll have no problem finding a big club with a freer wallet.
Difficult to see what big name Spurs will get to work under the same constraints and get better results.
Get him back. Plan A.
Precisely where is this rumoured?
I have been asked not to reveal my source just yet as it will put his (or her) position at the club in jeopardy.
Well, I’m sure they’re right. We certainly look like an attractive proposition to a top manager at the moment, definitely a club on the rise backed up by wealth, ambition, confidence, a club structure others can only envy, and an enormous loyal fan base He’s as good as signed, imho.
Lol.
That’s perfect.
They’ll spend 18 months on a journey of hope, disappointment, frustration and anger whilst all the time marvelling how their manager has turned their once lauded, open and attacking football into a slightly less successful version of Cardiff.
We do have a specific thread about manager sackings, but this is very Saints-related, and from certain account(s) in the other thread, may be even more Saints-related.
Get him back I say. He’ll be pissed off and wanting to prove himself.
The Rabbit Hutch has become a crutch since he lost his Ralph and Rohl.
Soz, didn’t see the other thread.
I read this as Pooh sacked and wondered what happened to poor old Winnie.
He had one job - counting the trees in the enchanted forest. He failed, quite abjectly, and fell back on excuses about the impossibility of the job. The world of tree-counting is a highly competitive and unforgiving one, so he simply had to go. But he’ll have plenty of compensation and will no doubt walk straight into another tree-counting job in a matter of weeks, or even days.
