I definitely developed a taste for it when I was in Brazil. The semi-final win v Scousers coincided with my birthday and a night out in Rio.
I remember celebrating with a few, but further recollections are not available.

Eng v Croatia Euro 2002 Lisbon, I blagged a Corporate Trip - great result & we decamped to a tiny Brazilian Bar up high in the old town levels west of the City Centre.
We drank gallons of it and danced like we’d won the whole damned thing.

I was actually quite surprised. For some reason, I’d assumed Woods was some old bathtub spirit hailing from the slums of Victorian London or something, then when I cracked it open for her tonight I noticed it was from the Caribbean.
