In the real world some of the asylum seekers are clearly desperate to come to the UK, and some will succeed, risking life and limb to do so. What’s an economic migrant? Someone who wants a better life for themselves? Perhaps they already had a good life before we piled in with the US destroying their country and their way of life. We should have thought of that before doing it, now we have to own it, because the yanks won’t. They make sure they drop their bombs thousands of miles away from their back yard, no fear of desperate migrants off their shores. But they can rely on their trusty suckers to take up the slack. Better get used to it, there will be plenty of opportunities for us to stand shoulder to ankle, displaying our credentials as craven useful idiots to our Lords and masters across the pond just as soon as we cast off the shackles and take back control.
