A process is created. It is a wise process. It then goes down the line to 35p an hour employees. And an intern forgets to do something. The process allows for no intelligence no creative solutions. The process is followed.
I once paid 200 quid for 2 tickets to take an attractive single Lady to the Horse Race. We were in our finery. 50,000 people.
Someone decided to install ONE airport screening station and screen EVERY attendee at one hours’ notice. We got in after 4 hours wait. Many who had spent thousands to get there did not.
The Manager was sacked but only a month later.

I look back on the event as a pivotal point in the space time continuum. It was a date, it went badly, so there was no second date. Couple of weeks later a different young lady invited me out for coffee. And here I am in -5C in fvcking Poland

But regardless of that, any country with pretensions of being viewed as civilised would surely provide it anyway as a matter of public policy. Then again, I suppose any country wishing that would also refrain from public floggings.

I’ve recommended the Woodstock 99 documentary on Netflix before. What happened there, basically, is that you had a bad festival in the first place, and people were further enraged when they realised they were being ripped off at every turn.
I watched this rather bland fan village promo from 12 days ago. What interested me is the set-up of these fan villages. Looks like loads of different nationalities are all going to be staying in the same place.
I expect they’ll fight among themselves first and then fight the Qatari authorities for the rest of the tournament.
