Open a UK address account and UK card then open account
Mobile phone number was wrong
Get a UK mobile phone. Wouldnt work because it was roaming on the UAE network.
So you really couldn’t.

In the day i was in a consortium tgat owned a Racehorse.
£300 investment
The Shetland Pony (Channel Four after the radio station) got us into the owners lounge & free booze at the course.
It came sort of midfield then sort of OMG 3rd then i took my Mum and it fucking won.
It won again
Then it qualifued for Dubai World Cup weekend - the Derby or something.
It was favourite.
Then a Sheikh asked to buy it.
We only wanted to go to the owners lounge on WC day
The Sheikh insisted
We said no.
The horse got injured never raced again
We made of that what you will.
But yeah i tried everything to be able to bet on it.
