The Manager offshore has just recieved a bottle of Vodka which is to be used for medicinal purposes, if anybody accidently drinks any of the Methanol that we have onboard.
The vodka is to be drunk by the affected person so that he / she gets drunk and this dilutes the affect of the methanol.
At present it is locked in his safe.
Do I
A: Take a sample bottle to the Methanol tank to see if the vintage is any good and tell the manager to get the good stuff out to cure me.
B; Forget there is a bottle of good stuff onboard and wait till I get ashore
C: Break into his safe remove the Vodka and replace it with a mineral water substitute.

If the manager is an arsehole, the answer is C.
If you have gone soft in the head, the answer still isn’t B.
