Just fell through the door after a night at the local in West Derby watching a group of 60 plus year olds playing some seriously good blues and country. All of them have been around the liverpool music scene since the sixties, one of the guitarists was in The Swinging Blue Jeans! Very very good. The standout was an exceptional boogie woogie pianist who must have been seventy if he was a day. A sublime version of the Chuck Berry classic, āYou never can tellā. Several cold beverages were taken. iām proud to say.
Dinner was definitely delayed Barry!

I was out last night myself. We ended up doing a mini-crawl, starting from the Alex, and getting half-way down Bevois Valley. One of our number had a Cato moment (e.g. family member turning up unannounced) so we ended up heading down to Mansbridge to sort that out.
I met someone that I thought looked like a short Paul Kaye. However, on chatting with the bloke, I settled on ā80s Jeremy Corbynā. He was happy enough with that.

Iām down South for three months, but in Liverpool on the weekends when weāre away from home.

Got given the 4th one last weekend.
So been stoptobering all week apart from yesterday which was vino night - Iām allowed a vino night each week when my weight has dropped by another 500g 8 Kg so far so a bottle a week just about pplus beer at footie
