Why is it that after drinking copious amounts of red wine intermingled with many fine ales does one thinks it’s a good idea to leave one’s friends house and say you’ll flag a taxi down?
Result a 4 mile walk and no fricking taxis and an aching achilles!
I should have phoned for one!

Eric may have been sprightly sickled tonight.
I was slightly pickled on Friday night but completely hammered last night. We went to a neighbour’s 60th birthday bash and didnt get home until 5am this morning. Free booze all night and plenty of grub.i I dont usually drink Prosecco but this came with rhubarb vodka so many gallons were quaffed followed by several bottles of Merlot. Best bit of the night though was hanging out with Vic Reeves and his very fit misses.
