🍻🍷 The Map of 🇲🇷 Booze thread whatever the title says (or is changed to when moderately intoxicated)

You can get much the same effect by simply lacing your coffee with brandy.

Bit early in the day?

Its over the yard arm somewhere in the Empire

Villa Any Tory? Bit naughty for a Lib Dem

The unasked but WTF is going on question here is not that @shroppie is drinking Any Tory wine, it’s where it actually comes from (Marco Simeone) and the fact that it has The Official Ryder Cup Wine stamp and branding on it.

As in where da fvck did you find that gnats piss?

Rude!

Actually I got it just to amuse your good self. I’m sure you know Antinori is a top Italian winemaker and official supplier to the Ryder Cup.

Got it from Tanners, my local wine merchant.

It’s never too early, but actually last night.

Boys weekend away to….

Margate

I shit you not

Anyway it’s Putty Day - for those of you not in the know, Verdant brewery release an annual beer, Putty. It is an8% NEIPA, blisteringly expensive and absolutely gorgeous

If you can - buy some. Belgium and Blues have it (at least they did at 12 pm when it went on sale)

Jolly Boys Outing episode 2 then CB.
Margate was my old stomping ground back in the swinging 60s, it was ace. I was born and brought up not far from there, it was the Saturday night out of choice for most of us, I haven’t been back there for many years but I understand it’s been gentrified, with art galleries, award winning restaurants etc. Now apparently it’s the weekend away of choice for trendy Londoners and the like. I would be very interested as to what it’s now like. Give my love to Dreamland!
