Come on you Scouse freeloaders, Paul Heaton is payingâŚ
Dude⌠Want a refreshing decent helles or pilsner, head to Beers of Europe and get yourself a few Herforder Pils , or Jever
Perfect with a Bratwurst on the BBQ
Youâre mumbling.
You wonât be out tonight if you drank all of this last nightâŚ
Donât be stupid.
My brain still handles alcohol like a 5 year old.
We shared the cans.
Do you have any Native American blood? According to a chap I was talking to in Arizona many years ago said the reason for banning alcohol in the reservations was that as a race they didnât process alcohol well.
âGive them a can of Budweiser and they were whooping and doing war dances around the garage where I workedâ, he said.
Mind you Budweiser has a bad effect on a lot of people.
This is a well-documented phenomenon, particularly with East Asian populations.
I think my alter-ego @saintbletch may have written on here many times that, sadly, he is genetically 50/50 Irish and Australian Aborigine.
The Irish blood means he canât stop drinking once he starts and the Aborigine blood means he canât handle much more than a thimble without turning into TwatManâŚ
âŚshould be in for a good night.
My first wife could not handle Budweiser the rice alcohol in it turned her crazy
NB she was half Singaporean.
My olâ Uncle Bindi OâMara used to play that in the back parlour.
Cunts.
Pollyâs Brewery - Spurs @7.2%
ÂŁ8.80 of your earth pounds. Itâs fucking lush.
Pretentious ReviewâŚ
Cracking pint. Hopefully the mortgage application will be approved before I have to pay the tab. Full, creamy and nicely carbonated - thereâs flowery fruits and a really short-lived hint at hop bitterness and then itâs just on the palate for a long time.
Verdant - Oss, Oss, Wee Oss. @8%
A little underwhelming to be honest. All the flavour is after the swallow. But after the swallow has loads of different flavours - flowers, fruit. Ginger? Witchcraft.
Forgot to say this was ÂŁ5.60 per half.
Cough.
In OâNeilâs (@Cobham-Saint - your doing?) In Winchester drinking a nice but massively overpriced Beavertown Neckoil.
Our economy is fuxxed.
2x Lâs @NotBletch if you wouldnât be so good as to remember
Appreciate youâve had a few
8 days.
8 fvcking days in hell.
The onlyvthing that kept me going was the idea of a steak & bottle of rainy day Saumur Champigny on my release.
Im released but no booze.
At best until stitches come out next TUESDAY at worst 2 more weeks - risk of causing tge leak to restart so special meds donât work so well with any booze. Anf if i leak again could be another week + inside.
Cvnts
Last time i was dry for even a week was 1997 when i went to Saudi for work.
