Both are tbh - after an unfortunate drunken episode at Corfu airport about 30 years ago.
Haven’t drunk it since - just the smell makes me want to
Southern Comfort has the same effect.
Gin has the same effect
There is no bad alcohol some is just better than others Flash made in a Sudanese sugar plantation was probably the worst but I would still drink it if there was nothing else
I’d probably keep using it to clean the kitchen floor tbh.

Need to get the right flavour of raki though. Quince raki is almost pleasant to drink. Most other flavours are like you say, shit.
