If you fancy going completely authentic consider a xinomavro - it’s a indigenous Greek red. If you like the Nebbiolo grape eg a barolo or barbaresco then this will be up your street
Greek wine has come on leaps and bounds in the last 20 years
Indeed so. We have had several bottles of Thymiopoulos Vineyards 2018 and they were excellent
I must give them a try. Last time I investigated there always seemed to be a hint of sweetness in the reds.
Aha!! Your political allegiances are shifting, then.
Hot climate - so a lot are like a primitivo
Xinomavro translates literally as sour black so it has enough acidity to balance the sweetness
But I’ve always been left-of-centre. More a Social Democrat. Never Tory, but have voted Labour.
The brother in law has excelled himself today
Earlier he dropped of 4 Pts of Big Casino from the dancing man
Yummy neat Sloe Gin this evening…needed a touch of sugar so the batch will get a proper sugar syrup sweetener tomorrow.
A historic bombogenesis snow storm is battering the east coast of the United States, with New Yorkers being told to stay home “with a six pack of beer and wait it out”.
Why don’t we get weather advice like this
A six pack?
The snow storm is going to be over in a couple of hours then?
How much of it survived the fall?
WTAF does this mean?
It was a follow up single by The Gipsy Kings that didn’t make it.
Allegedly
No idea - i cribbed it
So Google says
Bombogenesis, a popular term used by meteorologists, occurs when a midlatitude cyclonerapidly intensifies, dropping at least 24 millibarsover 24 hours. A millibar measures atmospheric pressure. This can happen when a cold air mass collides with a warm air mass, such as air over warm ocean waters. The formation of this rapidly strengthening weather system is a process called bombogenesis, which creates what is known as a bomb cyclone.
I think it’s bad
We all knew that.
We’ve seen The Day After Tomorrow
Errr no it doesn’t
You’re thinking minibar
You are, of course, correct. It is one of the units of measure of atmospheric pressure.
