By the seaside
Well I never.
I got given a phone number. Call me let’s catch up for a coffee or something.
Seriously?
This is where I took them. Forget the cargo, I went for the view!
You can add that to our itinerary.
Having a LoL today. Tour to Pope JP2’s house (on the right now a museum of his clobber) & some pilgrimage places. Kavalry & Sanctuary of The Divine Mercy.
(At least I’m seeing all this stuff)
However, all our Maltese tourists are un shorts & T-shirts.
Its 15C windy & drizzling, so the coach loads of them will all take a free souvenir home - Pneumonia
Old JP never had a chance with his career being brought up next to the Church. Bloody Bells licking off would have done for me.
Bells & Sanctuaries. Could be a book in there somewhere
Next stop Cavalry. Apparently when Jerusalem fell, Christian’s rebuilt it in Poland as a place of pilgrimage.
Whatever.
May the good lord go with you my son.
I am off to Hampstead swimming ponds later with a friend. I hope it is a lovely cooling pleasure.
Googles weil’s disease.
Spoiling my fun.
Google “cold water shock”.
Chilling on The Waterside with one of these cold bad boys - plenty more in the fridge.
Kids watching “olds TV” with Granny while Grandad snores away in his armchair. I’ve peace and quiet in the garden.
Mate. It will be worth it.
So I actually went in the pond at Hampstead. Surprised myself as can be a bit rubbish when it comes to cold water. Board said it was 21 degrees. Hmmm. It was refreshing. Not as cold as the cenote in Mexico in 2007.
Let’s see if I get ill now.
Absolute pleasure that.
It’s been nice knowing you Intiniki.
We used to go skinny dipping at Highcliffe Beach in the summer of '76. An all night beach party, bar-b-que and moonlight swimming.
It was however the summer of “Jaws” so the swim was accompanied with an improvised John Williams soundtrack. It was quite unnerving especially when the movie fact that sharks don’t attack unless the water temperature exceeds 21 degrees. In 1976 the water temperature peaked at 22 degrees.
Must have been a nightmare trying to swim with that cello too.
