Hotel converted the bar bill to a food bill
Uber driver was waiting at hotel entrance when I walked out & no traffic on the road.
Porto’s airport is actully quite nice. Oh and before I left a few bottles of port & wine along with some Iberian hams and cheeses to take back home from the supermarket across from the hotel. All in all a pleasent work trip so far.

Did you see the news about the women who was meant to do a bungee jump but they forgot to attached the cord and then threw her off the bridge. Unfortunately she went splat not bouncy bouncy and the people who threw her off the bridge are being tried for her death.
Seems a very fundamental element of a bungee jump is the rope attachment. I think I’d check that before anyone pushed me anywhere

Personally nobody is going to get me anywhere near an Parachute, Abseil or Bungy Jump. If there’s no good reason for doing it they can fuck right off.

I’ve done a skydive and several abseils. Missed out on a bungee in NZ when I was younger with an injury. Won’t do one now as I think most of my joints would come apart on the first bounce.
Considering a charity abseil down the Spinnaker Tower in September if I can bring myself to go onto that Godforsaken island

This cap is my saviour. I lose caps on a regular basis: on trains, in pubs, in fact anywhere.
But this is a homing cap. I have attempted to lose it four times in three days, but it keeps getting found. It was also stolen by a dog, but that’s another story.
Deep joy. I shall never need to but another cap.

Christmas 2025, Mrs P_F 's BFF gave me a bottle of Bacardi
Yesterday looking for the Olive Oil, found the remains of the bottle at the back of the botyle cupboard
So tonight, not only is this my 1st Bacardi in 18 months, it is also my 1st Cola since March, last year.
