For the first time in my life, yesterday I had a professional tend to my feet. Apart from the regular self trimming of toenails I’ve never seen the need for professional intervention.

No searing pain but walking the dog around 6 miles or so daily has been uncomfortable at times. Pinch-points in certain shoes needed attention so I called upon a friend who has retrained as a Foot Care Practitioner.

I got an hour of her undivided attention, very professional and now the old feet have been cast aside and I’m wearing the new pair. Rhino skin removed along with 3 mini corns, the size of half a grain of rice with the effect of half a house brick.

I now walk with the serene dexterity of a Prima Ballerina. Bloody marvellous. Care to dance? :grinning_face_with_smiling_eyes:

Kitten has curled up on my legs so am only listening to tonights movie.
Angels & Demons.
So not being a total nerd i hear the music and think - that sounds like - and obviously it was Hans Zimmer.
So I googled what films he has actually done - oh, that’s a lot more than I thought.
Then I saw a note.
Nah.

A tenuous link to Phil? Well I never.

I drank free for years in Dubai singing an impossible Karaoke Song - indeed it was often requested for me by others…

The link?

Hans was one of the Keyboard players in MTV’s 1st ever (and last ever) video.

Yep he was “in” The Bugles

Finally after always being outvoted, got to talk everyone to go to my secret bar right in the centre of Old Town.

Paying £2.40 a pint for Perla Lager.

Renewing our Virgin Media TV and broadband package…they wanted £100 more a month. Outrageous.

I phoned them up to tell them to shove it, so they made a counter offer for the identical package as our existing contract. It works out 40 quid a month cheaper than our existing one and 140 quid a month cheaper than their hiked offer.

It pays to tell them you’re going elsewhere. :+1:

Durian flavoured ice cream is lovely

Somemebody has suggested a rail tunnel from the Isle of Wight to Portsmouth

The reason to not do it was in the question Portsmouth who wants to be connected to that even the mainland is trying to distance it’s self

After 12 years of fighting for Planning Permission to develop some dilapidated barns left me by my late parents, and find a buyer, deal finally completed today.

I could have broken the record for bat surveys.

Anyway, cause for minor celebration: a welcome change from too much bad news recently.
